  • What is the Network for Professional and Executive Women (Network)?

    Network is a professional organization based in Columbus, GA, that provides opportunities for women to network with other businesswomen, develop their professional skills, build new friendships, and stay in touch with what is going on in the professional arena. We host general membership meetings once per month, which feature a keynote speaker. We also perform community service, hold social events, and award scholarships.

  • Who can join the Network for Professional Women?

    Our membership includes women at all stages of their careers, from stay-at-home moms to senior executives to retirees. Many of our members are employed by area companies, while others are local or online business owners.

  • How can I join Network for Professional Women?

    A regular membership is $375/year and includes all of the 11 membership lunches and the annual banquet. Click the “Apply to Join” button above to apply to become a member!

  • When and where are meetings held?

    We have monthly luncheon meetings, generally held on the 4th Friday of the month at the Country Club of Columbus. We also host other events at different times throughout the year. The website has the meeting dates listed.

  • What if I am not a member but would like to attend an event? Is there a charge?

    It only costs $29 to attend a meeting as a guest. Please visit our events page to see our calendar of events and to register!

Membership Questions

  • Once I am a member, how do I stay informed?

    Each month, you will receive an email newsletter with updates regarding meetings, special events, and other announcements. Information, updates, and notices are also given at our monthly general membership meetings. We encourage you to check our website often and also stay connected through our private members’ only Facebook group.

  • How do I become more involved in Network?

    We strongly encourage all of our members to make as many monthly membership luncheons as possible. We also host social events and extra opportunities for networking. Considering serving on the Board so that you can have an even greater impact on the organization!

  • How do I take advantage of networking with other Network members?

    At our monthly membership luncheons, the networking time begins 30 minutes prior to that. In addition to this, we hold special events throughout the year. Most members also agree that committee work and getting involved is the best way to connect and build relationships.

  • How is Network organized?

    Network has a volunteer Board of Officers who meet monthly and guide the organization toward its goals.

  • Who makes up the Network for Professional Women Board of Officers?

    The Network for Professional Women Board of Officers is a group of nine who serve in a variety of roles, including President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Marketing, Membership, Scholarships, Special Events, and Community Partnerships.
