Scholarships and Awards

The Network for Professional and Executive Women has established a Scholarship Fund for women admitted to their junior or senior year of baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate programs. The purpose of the Fund is to promote the professional development of women in our area. Both members and nonmembers of Network are eligible to compete. The application deadline is April 15 of each year. For more information, please download the application form.

The Network for Professional and Executive Women has also established a Grant Program for members to use in pursuing a course of study or special certification to continue or enhance their education or professional advancement. The purpose of the grant is to encourage the professional development of our members. Only members of Network are eligible to compete. For more information, please download the application form.

The Networker of the Year Award is presented each year at the October meeting to an outstanding member of the Network for Professional and Executive Women. Nominees should be a Network member in good standing who has made outstanding contributions to the organization, promoted the purpose of the chapter within the workplace, and been involved in the community. The deadline for nominations is September 30th of each year. For more information, please download the nomination form.

The Mary Jane Galer Political Participation Award is presented annually to the Networker who best exemplifies participation in the political process through service on local, state, or national governmental boards or commissions, who has advocated for issues affecting women in the workplace, or other issues of interest to her through her own awareness or through her job. She may also have run for office. There is no time limit on when the service may have occurred. To nominate a Network member in good standing for this award, download the application form.
